Workshop and group painting classes are NOW OPEN
I now have openings for group or individual oil painting classes for the beginner. I am a still-life oil painter and have been teaching beginners since 2008. All classes are held at my studio located at 1515 Main St. in Longmont. Email or text to register; [email protected] or 720-938-9661.
GROUP; Monday and Wednesday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, and Thursday; 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Individual; To be determined by mine and your schedule.
INDIVIDUAL: This is for beginning beginners. You will gain an understanding of the oil painting process as you learn about color mixing, values, and compliments. Design, paintbrush care, varnishing, and mediums will also be discussed. In your first three lessons, I sit next to you guiding you through the painting process and you will leave with a finished still-life painting. All supplies are furnished in the 1st 3 classes. Afterward, if you want to continue, you may start purchasing your own or pay an additional $10 materials fee per class. You are encouraged to work at your own pace. This is a gentle process. Please email to set up class time.
GROUP: Beginners and intermediate painters are mentored through any problems and questions you may have to become a better and more confident painter. I have a great group that have been with me for years and are very friendly and encouraging. Bring your own supplies or use mine for an additional materials fee.
